SENIOR SEO ANALYST
Know Agency is small, virtual search-focused team working hard to help our clients meet their business goals. The Senior SEO Analyst is an experienced analyst able to review content and technical audit documentation to provide strategic input and direction. The Senior SEO Analyst is viewed as an expert and a leader for the Know Agency team and the client.
The perfect candidate will provide creative direction and solutions to assist our clients with meeting their SEO goals in highly competitive and changing environments. The role will also have experience with a wide variety of business verticals and website technologies. The Senior SEO Analyst must demonstrate ability to provide appropriate judgement and response to client situations. The candidate will also have demonstrated success as educator for client and their Know Agency team members.
The Senior SEO Analyst stays up to date with the latest news and trends in the industry. The senior analyst position will manage multiple client engagements and be expected to make independent decisions to deliver the best results for their assigned clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead client engagement and product teams by providing strategic direction and expertise
- Coordinate with CEO on improvements within the SEO team
- Collaborate with account management on project plans and schedules using our project management software
- Pull, organize, and analyze SEO data from BrightEdge (nice to have), Google, SEMRush, and other relevant SEO data sources
- Use data to assess client and competitor websites to establish opportunities and create strategic plan that can be consumed by the client
- Provide expert recommendations for the following:
- Keyword analysis and suggestions
- On page optimization recommendations
- Internal linking strategies
- Understand the value of:
- Website migrations
- Schema markup
- hreflang and canonical tags
- Core Web Vitals
- XML Sitemaps
- CMS or ecommerce platforms (AEM, Sitecore, WordPress, Shopify, etc.)
- Work with technical SEO team on technical reviews and direction for meeting best practices
- Provide direction on architecture and user experience to maximize SEO opportunities
- Promptly and accurately respond to client inquiries regarding existing opportunities and with points of view on algorithm changes and new available tools
- Enhance all client relationships by exceeding or meeting client expectations on all interactions
- Deliver direction to internal and client-side content creators to maximize opportunities for ranking, engagement, and conversions
- Lead and constructively contribute to meetings as required.
- Work 40+ hours a week to maintain full-time employee status
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- 8+ years of experience in SEO
- Knowledge of search engine technology for Google, and Bing
- Experience creating and driving SEO strategy across multiple industries
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in written form, SEO content and technical information with a wide variety of individuals and groups
- Proficient with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Screaming Frog
- Self-disciplined to thrive working in remote environment
- Intellectual curiosity
- Demonstrate ability to identify problems and work creatively to resolve them
- Ability to find solutions for new opportunities using existing or new processes and tools

PAID SEARCH STRATEGIST
Know Agency is small, virtual team working hard to help our clients meet their business goals via paid search, organic search, and other digital marketing channels. The Paid Search Strategist wears many hats in addition to leading development and implementation of Google and Microsoft ads strategies, including account manager, troubleshooter, sounding board, educator, and strategic guide. The role will spend the majority of their time working on paid search strategies that support client marketing plans. The perfect candidate brings an understanding of proven techniques and stays on top of new and evolving opportunities that can help drive client success.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic and tactical direction for paid search for assigned clients
- Deliver growth within accounts
- Reporting and analysis for assigned clients and campaigns
- Create, implement, and manage bid strategy and budgeting rules
- Monitor and optimize campaigns to make sure client goals are met
- Plan and implement new campaigns, ad groups, ads to help improve performance
- Primary contact for paid search technology and metrics questions for assigned clients
- Work with organic search team to holistically plan and meet search goals for assigned clients
- Analyze competitor activity to find new opportunities for your clients
- Manage budgets and finances for assigned clients
- Provide insights and ideas on internal projects
Qualifications and Skills
- 3+ years of experience in paid search
- Experience creating and driving paid search strategy across multiple industries
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Google Analytics
- Self-disciplined to thrive working in remote environment
- Ability to find solutions for new opportunities using existing or new processes and tools
Desirable/Not Required
- International experience
- Experience with third party search technology, such as Optmyzr
- Experience with other paid media channels, such as social media
- Agency experience
